Hello Swisco,
Recently orderd your 58-053 bubble seal to replace the cracked, gummy bubble seal on my 22 year old Craftline casement windows. The old seal measured close to 1/4" in diameter. Assuming shrinkage over the 22 year period, I concluded that 5/16" was probably the diameter of the original material. However, comparing the old and new bubble seal side by side, I'm now not so sure (see attached photo). In your opinion, can the 5/16" product be used as a replacement for the old bubble seal?
Thanks for you help!

Have you tried to install the 58-053 Bubble Seal in the vacant slot on your casement windows? It seems like it could possibly fit, despite the size difference.

Hello Mike,
After receiving your note, I did try a small piece of the 58-053 and found that it filled the gap between the window and the outside frame nicely. By inserting the top end of different size twist drill bits, also determined that the window-to-frame gap is 1/4 inch. Your 5/16 inch 58-053 now seems to be just the right size! Thanks for your help.
