58-173 Caradco Door Question

Question

I have what I believe to be a Caradco 6 foot 1 fixed one moving patio door that has 4 hinges on it. I have attached pictures of the existing weather stripping and the bottom door sweep.

Due to the cost of this weather stripping and shipping cost I would like to have you review my pictures and help me identify the correct bottom sweep as well as the weatherstripping. Just about all readily available grove mount type weather stripping is too thick for this door and it will not shut with it installed.

I will have a link below showing the type that will fit the provided grove in the door but the door will not shut due to it being too thick.

Welcome to Swisco. If you could, please start with taking a look at both our 58-173 bulb seal and 58-176 door bottom sweep. Our 58-176 just wraps around the bottom of the door. The piece you have plugs into specifically spaced slots which is, I am afraid, not the easiest in locating a replacement.

I see you also mentioned that one of the weatherstripping you previously used as a replacement was too thick. Could you go into a little more detail about that for us? How thick was it?
