I have several windows c. 1939-41 that need balancer replacement. Hope the pictures help and you have a recomendation.
5/8" tube, seems to be a blue tip, 24"ht. x 36" w. sash, bottom attachment integral w tube.

Hello,
Your original balances with the bracket fixed to the bottom of the spiral are no longer available. It looks like your balance may have a 25" tube based on your photo. If so, you should be able to use the (5/8") S500-24 blue tip spiral balances with the 17-012 mounting brackets. The blue tip balances will support a sash between 12-31 Ibs. If your sash weight differs, there is a chart on the product page that explains how to choose your option based on the sash weight. We also suggest using a charging tool like the 75-005, which makes the install much easier. Thanks for posting!
