5/8 inch top guide for S385 sashes.

Is part 18-008 guide the correct part for this sash. I have one that is broken and the measurements seem to match. Also, what is a safe/correct lubricant for Kinro windows when they are hard to raise?

Unfortunately, top sash guides are not determined by the type of window you have or the balances they use. The only way to confirm a replacement is to remove an undamaged guide and compare the measurements and style to ours. If you could show us yours and provide dimensions, we'd be happy to confirm if the 18-008 would be the best match.

Also, we recommend silicone spray for balances but if they are older and the window is hard to raise even after lubrication, it may be time to replace them. Thank you!
