60" bifold wooden doors top metal piece

Question

The plastic piece that the pin fits into broke. The doors are 30 years old but in terrific shape. I have tried the box and hardware stores as well as Amazon for the piece but the are too narrow for the rail. I was able to repalce the wheel with no problem. I would need two so I can replace the other side before it breaks. The bottom pieces are fine.

Thanks for reaching out to us! The nylon, fork-shaped pivot bracket you have here has been discontinued for quite some time now and likely isn't made any longer. This nylon fork acted as a stop for the 23-120 Top Roller Guide to prevent the doors closing all the way in.

The best replacement recommendation we have for it is the 23-302 Bi-fold Door Top Pivot Bracket, which would be compatible with the 23-115 Spring Loaded Top Pivot.

The bracket may very likely fit your track but you'll need to compare its dimensions to confirm.

If it is not a fit, the next best suggestion would be to replace the entire track with the 23-511 Bifold Track which comes with a pivot bracket.
