60 year old storm door handle

I need to replace two old storm door handles, and haven't found anything that will cover the existing hole (about 1" x 1 1/4") in the door. It's a simple push pull latch, I think.

I'm not sure if we have an exact match for this. Could you use our 40-040? Take a look and let me know what you think.

That's what I was thinking - it looks the closest to covering the hole, and can be mounted in the same position. The plug in the hole can be popped out to install the handle. I'll give it a try. Thanks.
