79-029 & 79-030 pile thickness

What the material and thickness of the weather strip for part numbers 79-029 and 79-030? I have a gap of 3/4 inch between doors. Is the material felt or nylon brush?

The height of the wool pile for both parts is only about 1/4" tall, but you could pack out the faceplate with some small washers to make up the difference.
