795 Balance and pivot bars

Question

Hello! I am switching out 20 year old window balances that are no longer made. I'm confident in the 795 Balance being the correct one I need based on other discussion boards of people replacing the same type of old balance. However, I'm having some trouble with the pivot bars and making sure I choose the right 795. I appreciate any help you can give me.
1. My window sash weighs 18 lbs. Do I buy the 795B or C (they both list 18 lbs for sash wgt). The balance length is 28 in.

2. I've attached a picture of the pivot balance from my current window. However, the measurements don't match the pivot balance listed on your website (26-366). The old one isn't as wide and the holes don't match either even though they look alike. What do I order for this?

Thanks for posting. If your window weighs exactly 18 lbs, then you really could go with either stamp option. I'd just go with the 28C. As far as your pivot bar goes, If the distance between at least one of the holes and the tip that fits into the shoe matches your old one, I think the 26-366 can still work for you; but let me know what you find.
