82-002 used on 1-1/4" thick door

Question

Can we use 82-002 on a door that is 1 1/4 inch wide? We purchased a replacement lock and it isn't working. The patent on the original lock is RD-1968 CAN

Normally, our 82-002 is for a 1" thick door. You might want to try and reuse the screws from the old lock, as well as the hook tooth.
