82-002K installation questions

A quick learner says:

Hello Parts Dept,

I purchased the 82-002K per conversation with customer service rep. a couple of months ago. I ordered it and received it yesterday. order #1100828

Here's some questions;

1. Figure 3&4 -step 2 I've installed the key ,but what is the pin tumbler?

and where do I use the two washers.

2. Having problems yesterday with the latch not locking and today after changing many options the door locked BUT I could not open the door.

Thanks for contacting us It sounds like you might be having trouble with installing the key lock. Have you seen our video? That may clear up some details. We walk through the whole process. I know if the key lock is installed improperly, you will have trouble locking and unlocking it.
