82-003 and Allen-Stevens RD 1965 width comparison

Question

I just purchased your 82-003 in hopes of replacing our broken Allen-Stevens RD 1965. I want to make sure that the width from the outer edge of metal piece to the outer edge of handle is the exact same because we have two sliding glass doors. The interior sliding door needs to have enough clearance from the handle to close. The width of the old one appears to be 1-1/2". Thank you

Allen Stevens has been out of business for some time. That said, our 82-003 handle set comes from the mold that Allen Stevens used. I measured the complete depth of the 82-003 handle, including the metal die cast that is screwed to the door, and to the outside of the wood pull and it is 2".
