82-008K compatibility

Question

I need to replace the keyed handle on a 40+ year old door. The original looks like a 82-008K but it measures 7 3/16" tall with screws spaced 6 1/2". Is your product likely to work? Thank you!

I believe the 82-002K or the white 82-002WK version of this handle set might be a better option but the hole spacing would be the determining factor, which measures 6-5/8" for our parts. Also, take a close look at the "hook" orientation of your assembly compared to the images below. Review the suggested parts and related videos to see if this might work for your application.
