Do I need a new mortise to match the 82-030?

Does the 82-030 handle set require the purchase of a new mortise lock, or will it fit my existing system, which looks like your part number 82-226.

Hello there! As long as your original handle set is identical to our 82-030, then it should be fully compatible with all of your original parts, including the mortise.

In your particular case, the 82-030 and 82-227 mortise are indeed compatible. If that's what you have then there shouldn't be any issues.
