Where does 82-071 install

Secondary Patio Door Lock, Andersen,Product Code: 82-071
Can this lock be positioned at the opening corner of the slide glass door. I have a slider that has the screen on the outside. Therefore, do the mounting holes go all the way through the lock to allow mounting to a side?

Thank you for posting. The 82-071 is meant to be screwed to the lower interlock side on the sliding door just above the track. I do not know how well it would work installed any other way. This kind of hardware tends to be particular.
