The 82-239 appears to have two slots for lock/unlock lever(s). Does either lever operate both the top and bottom lock mechanisms? Are the dimensions listed for these slots measured from the top and bottom installation holes, or from the back of the frame? If the latter, do you have the dimensions from the top and bottom installation holes?

Hello,
Both spindle inserts are used to operate both locking hooks in the mortise lock. See the dimensions from the 82-239 product page below. As long as the style and dimensions shown below match your assembly, you should be good to go. Thanks for posting.

Thanks very much. Just received the mortise and installed it. It is an exact match for the Mortise in my Simonton patio door. No reply needed.
