Question

The answers to others' questions on this latch replacement are insufficient. The metal end of door leaves no visible/obvious way to get at the latch mechanism or any screws that hold it in place - it's solid metal that runs top to bottom on the door. Is there some kind of access when we remove the handles? We have done that in the past and don't remember anything revealed by doing that ...?
