84-075 Rollers

Quick Learner from 72903
I ordered the new steel rollers and installed them into our peachtree screen door. They appear to be working fine, except the door will not stay on the tracks when we move it. We cleaned the track and lubricated it with silicone lubricant, but it still jumps the track. Any suggestions?

Hello, thank you for posting,

There are a few things you could do. First check the track to make sure there are no notches or dents in the bottom screen track. Check to see that wheels are adjusted properly. When I adjust a patio screen door I first adjust the lower rollers so the door rolls and closes plumb to the jamb. Next I add tension to the upper rollers. Adjust the top rollers so that it keeps the door on the track, but not too tight that the patio screen door won't roller easily. Finally if all else fails make sure the rollers you just purchased are rolling easily.

Let us know if the issue persists!
