I have tried several times to install back a pair of them but won't go back in and I cannot find a video of it.

Maybe I can help! My first thought is that you possibly have the wrong roller. You say your roller is the 84-096, but I am wondering if you might actually need the 84-108. Both rollers are very similar except that they have a different attachment that locks them into the corner of the screen door. Compare your original roller to make sure you have the correct one. Also take a look at the related videos on this page that concern installing rollers similar to yours. The video is of a different style, but watching it might help you with the installation.
