850 to 795 or 775 conversion? Cross compatible?

After watching the 850 to 795 conversion video I'm feeling a lot more confident to replace my balances with non original parts.

However I'm having a hard time discerning between 795 and 775. The shoe in my window matches the 775 but the spring mechanism matches the video of discontinued 850. The pivot bar already in the window matches the pivot bar shown in the 795 video. Are the two of these interchangeable? What are the differences between 795 and 775?

Thanks for posting. To be safe, could we see pictures of your old block & tackle balance, including the shoe? If the shoe matches the wedge of the Series 775, most likely what you need. But it's best to confirm just to be safe. Let us see your current pivot bar too, preferably out of the window. Many thanks.
