Do not know window manufacturer 8590 numbers on bottom of fixture

That number is sometimes associated with our 26-408, but I'm not certain if this is what you have. I recommend carefully comparing an undamaged version of your latch to our 26-408 to confirm.

You are correct, Tom. The bottom view in the third photo on the web page for 26-408 shows the number 8590 embossed on the part.
