90-252 latch replacement

Question

I bought the latch replacement and it's the exact same as the previous one. It's installed but when I go to put the cover back on and line up the holes it doesn't fit. Thought maybe the screws were too far out but that's not it. What can be done about this? Thanks

Sorry to hear of your trouble. It is possible your old cover is not compatible. This unfortunately is the case sometimes with older versions. If so, you'll need the newer style 90-253.
