I am reaching out regarding the BF Rich vinyl/tilt-in windows I have, which are equipped with sliding half screens featuring latches. Unfortunately, a few of these screen latches have broken tips and require replacement. I noticed that your 91-001P window latch set appears to be a perfect dimensional match for the latches I need to replace. I would like to know if it is possible to remove the defective latches and replace them without disassembling the BF Rich screen frame. If this is not feasible, could you please provide guidance on the process for removing and replacing the old latches on BF Rich screens? I have reviewed the instructional video you provided; however, I believe that the screen corners on my BF Rich frames may not allow for removal using the technique demonstrated. To illustrate this, I have attached three pictures of an intact, functioning screen latch, which should give you a better understanding of my situation. As closely as I can measure without disassembling the latch, the dimensions of my BF Rich screen latches closely match those of the 91-001P latch.
For your reference, I have also included images from your website that display the dimensions of the 91-001P latches, as well as a photo I found online that features your 91-001P latch.

Hello,
Based on your photos, you should not have to disassemble the frame to access the latches. Take a look at the second video related on this page showing how to install the latch with the 91-003 spring. This type of spring and latch is removed using a small tool to depress the spring retainer in the frame. Thanks for posting.
