ACORN DORWAL PARTS

Question

Hi-

I'm looking for a few things:

The back plastic cover that goes on the jamb ( IMG_0523 )
The striker or whatever that goes on the frame that the latch hook hooks under to to keep the door closed.
The black foam stuff that goes at the top and bottom of the fixed door.

Unfortunately, Acorn has been out of business since the turn of the century so their parts are limited. The patio glass door keeper would be our 89-007. The black plastic cover is no longer available and for the foam sponge interlocks, you can probably make them from the foam insulation that local hardware stores sell.

I'm sorry that we can't offer the specific parts you need for this door. They're getting harder and harder to get a hold of.
