ALENCO 27.5" Balance replacement

Thanks for reaching out to us. This appears to match either the Series 351 or Series 390 channel balance. The best match will depend on the depth of the bottom shoe as shown below.
Can you confirm the length of the metal channel? If it's indeed 27-1/2" long, this must be a custom order and we'll need to know the exact sash weight as well.
As for the black caps, I wonder if you could be referring to the top sash guides. If that's the case, we would need to see an undamaged version removed from the window. Photos of the side and front of the top sash guide are ideal.
If the bottom shoe measures 1", you'd want the S351-28. Your old 27C stamp may translate to our 2730 stamp where a pair of balances with this stamp would support a sash weighing 13 to 19 pounds. You could always weigh the window sash to confirm.
I'm not sure what guides or cap you're referring to, unfortunately. We'll need to see a photo of the part in question to determine if we have a comparable match.
