ANDERSON TRIBECA - THUMB LATCH

A home owner from boston, ma says:
The thumb latch on our sliding glass door doesn't seem to latch correctly all the time and it got to a point that it would not close. I was wondering what the adjustment screw is for and it has an arrow on it with the words in and out. Could this be my problem? Does this have something to do with the latch not closing. Please advise.

Thanks.

Dave Sr. from SWISCO responded:
Yes, that adjustment could solve your problem. Turning the adjustment screw will move the hook in and out. That could be all the adjustment you'll need. Also, look at the strike plate-- I think that has an up and down vertical adjustment.
