All I want to know is the part number of this mortise lock mechanism and how I order one.

Without the part in front of me to measure, I can't tell if you need the 82-037 mortise I suggested above. Measure yours and see if it's the same as ours. If so, you can use it. The photos below are also available on the product webpage.
