Acme 41

A handy person from Iowa says:
Hi!

I have a pocket door in need of repair. House was built in 1955 and I am looking for any replacement roller that will work on the track that is in the wall. Otherwise I will have to tear out the wall. So I have the door, and in the photo I have the bottom right piece as it is attached to the door, however I do no have the piece in the upper left of attached photo. Is there anything you guys sell that could replace or fix this? The info on mine says, acme no 41 Pasadena

Paul from SWISCO responded:

I definitely understand your concern. It really is unfortunate that they install these pocket door tracks covered by the wall. I guess they never thought it'd ever need to be replaced.

As for your hardware, we couldn't find anything exactly like this. We have the 23-177 bypass hanger with a 1-3/16" by 1/2" thick nylon wheel rivet on the bracket. If you're handy, you could drill out the rivet and either screw or rivet on the wheel to the old bracket.
