Acorn DorWAL rollers - single vs double

Question

The roller in my Acorn DorWAL sliding door appear to be your model 81-027. Would the performance be better if I switched to the model 81-030 with the double rollers? It looks like it will fit.

It may be possible, but there are two important dimensions that differ that may prevent the 81-030 from working: the height of the housing and the width of the housing. The height and width of the 81-030 housing is 1-1/8" and 3/4", respectively, while the same measurements for the 81-027 are 1" and 19/32". There is no guarantee. Honestly, we always recommend sticking with what was installed originally just to play it safe.
