our sliding glass Acorn Dorwal makes a GRINDING sound

can you recommend parts to repair this 3/section glass door....one sliding panel and 2 fixed panels

Thanks for posting! A grinding sound may be a result of bad rollers. Unfortunately, I won't be able to help without seeing some photos. Are you able to upload some pictures of the hardware you're looking to repair/replace?

I fully understand that it is a roller problem but I cannot dismount the door at this time unless I were to grow 65 miles of new arms.

Which rollers were used in this type of sliding glass door?

If there are more than one series of roller can you name them for me?

I will buy a few and try to find the exact correct match once the door is on the floor.

Acorn doors have been known to use many, many different rollers so without a picture there are simply too many possibilities to narrow it down. Unfortunately, you'll have to remove your rollers at some point in order to replace them. If you choose to try random rollers, you'll just have to reinstall the door while you return the ones you purchased and wait for new ones to come in. Take a look at the video I've attached, it shows you everything you need to know when it comes to replacing a roller.
