Hello,
I have an Acorn sliding door that is in need of some minor repairs. I believe if I can replace my handle and rollers that I can avoid replacing the door altogether. The house was built in 1991.
The handle has broken off entirely. Photo is included. The bottom rollers seem to be missing and the door drags heavily on the guide track. It is a tempered glass door. I've included a photo of the roller area. The second screw head to adjust roller height is stripped and is located in a recessed area there under the fastening screw.
I've also included a photo of the door model number that has worn so I am not entirely sure of the exact model. I am very confident that I will be able to make any repairs myself. I just need help narrowing down appropriate parts to make the repair easy so that I will only have to remove the door one time. I appreciate any guidance with your knowledge of this product to help me get my door back into working condition.

Thanks for reaching out to us. Is the installation hole center spacing for the handle 3-1/2"? If so, I recommend you have a look at the specifications of the 82-055 and see how they compare with yours.
The rollers are tricky since they're missing. I can't make any promises but please allow me to consult one of our senior experts and I will reach back out as soon as we have more information.

Your door appears to be a "thermal break" Acorn patio door. You can use the 82-055 handle set, but I think you might also need to reuse the inside hook latch from your existing handle set. The old thermal break latch hook was 2" long.
As for the roller, being that this is an Acorn thermal break door, you may have a tandem roller like the 81-030. However, this is just an educated guess. You would need to remove the old roller and compare the specifications to confirm they align. Acorn has used many different rollers in their patio doors so it's important we have the original as a reference to determine the appropriate roller for your door.
