I believe my aluminum sliding window used a pair of tandem rollers. The assembly looks to be 1 5/8 " long and between 5/8 and 3/4 " wide

Thanks for your patience. Take a look at the 87-061 Acorn Roller. Remove your old one and compare to see if this matches what you have.
