Add keyed lock to sliding glass door

A handy person from Lutherville, MD says:
Looking to add a keyed lock to our sliding door that goes out to our deck. Do I need a whole assembly or can I just add a keyed mortise to the existing assembly. Let me know if you need more info or pictures.

We'd need to see the handle to recommend any modifications. Can we see both sides of the handle set?

Perfect, thanks! It looks like the thumb lever for your inside handle is centered. Can you confirm? If it is, I'm confident you can use our 82-310 key lock on your existing handle set. All you'd have to do is knock out that center punch in the outside handle in your last picture.

If the thumb lever isn't centered, it's no big deal. Let me know and we'll come up with something else.

Confirmed, thumb lever is centered for the inside handle. I'll go ahead and order the key lock you listed. Thanks.
