Adhesive for weather strip

Question

Hello, I have ordered weatherstrip but I am wondering if there is any recommendation on adhesive to use with it? I basically have Pella wood windows, when I pull off old strip I saw there is a line of some adhesive, wasn't sure what you use. Thanks!

To be honest, I'm not sure, either. I suggest contacting a hardware store in your area, to see what they think should be used. A thin bead of silicone caulk might work, but I'm not positive. I recommend trying to install the rainstrip without adhesive first. If it doesn't hold, hit the hardware store.
