Adjustment Screw

Home Owner from mccormick, sc
The adjustment screw for my sliding glass door doesn't fit a Phillips screwdriver. it looks like it takes some kind of tool with 4 equal flanges. Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks,
Richard

Hi Richard,

I'm sorry to say that I would not be able to determine the type of screw your rollers have based on the description provided. There are quite a few screws that this description could apply to; there is also a chance your existing screw could be stripped.

Are you possibly able to provide a photo of what the screw looks like?

You are right, the adjustment screw has been badly stripped and will require total removal of the roller unit. thanks for your help,
Richard

Hi Richard,

Okay, I understand. I'm glad we were able to help you figure out your next steps. If you are looking to replace the rollers, we are happy to take a look at them to see if we are able to provide you with a suitable replacement. I'll just need to see photos of the roller removed from the door, when you're ready.

Please let me know if there is anything else I might be able to assist with in the meantime.

Have a great day!
