My mom has an ador sliding glass door approx 51inches by 80. The house was built in 1959 so they were manufactured in the 50's sometime. We need an elephant to pull it open it has been like that for years. Is there a model number or serial number on the door.
It is very very heavy and wondering the appropriate rollers to order. Can you give me the approx. Weight of these doors. Is there a service rep. Near niagara falls ontario.

Hello, Marty. We don't have any specs for these doors, nor a list of hardware used. Right now I don't know what you will need. In order to assist you, I will require seeing a photo of the rollers in question out of the door. I specifically need to see them from the back end, top, and side.
Note that due to the age of the door, there is a very real possibility that we don't have what you need. I'm happy to try my best to find a solution for you, of course, but the only way I can confirm one way or the other is to see the roller out of the door.
Thanks for getting back to us. I am sorry to say that we don't sell a replacement for this part. As I suspected it is just too old and I don't believe any of our more modern parts can work as an alternative.
The only thing I can suggest trying is swapping the wheel out and reusing the housing. You can see our list of available wheel sizes here, including a couple axle kits. Since this is so old this is probably going to be your best option.
