Hi:

Wondering if you have advice on my vinyl double hung. These pictures show bottom inside/outside where the side of the bottom facing window has pile strip. Do I have to somehow make slot on back where slot is?

Hello,

We haven't come across windows with wool pile installed in the window frame rather than the sash, so it's tough to be sure what the best way to remove it would be. With that being said, we often recommend the cutout method shown below for window sashes without an opening to replace the weatherstripping. Take a look and see if you could replace yours by using a similar method. Thanks for posting.
