How to remove screen with part 842 corner latch. Instructions in previous posts are not helpful. The part (842) doesn't slide or move. Pulling the tab dues nothing and I'm afraid to break it.

Hello,
Looking at your photo, the top of the screen should be exposed on the inside of the window frame. The only thing that should be holding the screen is the latch on the 95-218 corner key. It appears your window frame has sagged/settled and the screen is binding in the frame. You might need to pry out the top of the screen frame on the inside of the window to remove it. You could possibly have someone cut down the height of the screen so it will fit into your window. Check another window in the house to see if any other screens can come out of the frame easily.
