Hello, I'm am looking to purchase replacement spiral springs for my windows and i need to know what I'll need. I think i have 9/16 diameter and 34 inch length. It has a black tip and these are tilt windows. I would like to make sure i am measuring them correctly. Picture 1751 is where the spiral spring mounts up to the frame, the white insert is missing; do you sell that? also, do you have the screws that mount the replacement spiral spring to the frame? i added a post early but have come up with more questions after watching your videos. Thank you for your time and look forward to your response.

Thanks for contacting us. Based on your information, I would recommend our S600-34 spiral balance. It looks like the screw plug broke. I wonder if this is because you have a Black Tip; Black Tips indicate an especially strong spring. You may want to weigh your sash on a scale to confirm that this is the proper strength rating.

See our 26-200 screw plug and 33-016 screw. These should work for you. The damaged hole for the screw plug might be too broken to hold the 26-200, in which case we'd recommend a #8 x 1-1/2" (or longer) screw to secure the balance through the vinyl frame and into the wood framing behind it.
