Alcoa Single Hung Casement Window - plastic latch broken

A home owner from Pawleys Island SC says:
Hi. We have 2 windows in our home with broken latches on the top of the bottom window. I've included a pic of the good latch and the broken latch. The latch allows the window to drop out for cleaning. It is not the lock for the lower window.

Our windows have the name Alcoa printed on the lock as shown in the photo.

I would like to order 3 replacement latches if your company has them? One for a spare. Also I am not sure how to replace the broken latch and would like information on how to do it if possible.

Thanks. Al B.

For these tilt latches, check out our 26-243 and 26-244 and carefully compare their dimensions to your own hardware to see if they match. As for replacing them, it's a pretty easy process. You just pop out the old ones then slide the new ones in their place. They should snap in.
