Alenco Window Channel Balance Help

Question

The bracket holding the pulley system to the metal channel is bent and broken. The channel has the number 2740CG stamped on it and the channel is 28 inches long. The spring seems to be in good shape!

Hello there. When the 'inner guts' of these balances break down, they need to be replaced entirely. Fortunately this is pretty straightforward. This looks like either our S351-28 or S390-28. The only difference between these two balances is the 'depth' of the bottom nylon shoe, so compare both with your old hardware to see what matches best. You'll need a stamp option of 2740.
