Alenco Window -- Channel Balance Replacement

Question

I need to replace and spring or entire channel balance parts on three of my Alenco, non-tilt, windows. I have removed one of them and it appears one end of the spring has broken off. The metal part of the channel balance is 28" long, excluding the white plastic parts.

Good morning, Donna. Based on your pictures it looks like you have a balance similar to our S390-28. Check it out and see if you agree. Keep in mind that you cannot replace just the spring; if yours has broken, the entire balance must be replaced.
