Alumax double hung windows.

I see no numbers or other markings on the parts. JPG366 shows one of our problems. the plastic part that the metal stub on the window goes into is broken on a couple of the windows. Am also wondering how to replace that sliding part on JPG366 and 373. It's in a channel that seems to be inflexible.

Hello,

Your exact pivot shoe is no longer available but we may still have one that could work for you. Once you are able to remove your hardware following the videos we've related for you, please send us the thickness of your pivot shoe, as well as the diameter of the spiral balance tube and we should be able to point you in the right direction.

Also, you can view our selection of tilt latch release levers here. Thank you!

My pivot shoe measures 9/16 thick and 1 1/2 wide. The colored tip about 1 1/2 up in the tube is blue.

I would recommend double-checking the width since 1-1/2" is unusually wide for a spiral balance pivot shoe. I would recommend starting with our 15-118 and 15-121 and comparing the dimensions to yours. As for the balance itself, you could have either our 5/8 diameter S600-22 or 3/8" diameter S900-22 with a blue tip. Take a look and see which will work for your window.

Also, see our selection of wool pile here and carefully compare the width of the backing and height of the pile to yours.
