Q1: Does it have a stop on the slide rail?
Q2: Will the bolt slide at least 1" on the slide rail?
Q3: Is this item available in a 6" version?

The 40-011 does have a stop. The bolt extends 1-1/4" past the stop. This is made of aluminum. We also carry the 40-012 slide bolt which extends 1-3/8" past the stop as is made of brass. I'm afraid we do not have a slide bolt in a 6" version.
