Aluminum Beading help with installation

Question

I recently purchased beading 55-180-6 tried a test piece hard to install possibly the wrong size.

Can you help me with this installation?

Did the 55-180 snap-in glazing bead match your original snap-in? We are thinking maybe the top of the 55-180 , being 3/16", is too wide and you may need it to be a little narrower. Look over the dimensions of our 55-181 glazing bead to see if that would make the better option.
