Aluminum Window Lift Latch Handle Curved Spring

I have an aluminum single hung window 4' x 5' in size and the part that I require is a small curved spring, 3" in length, that fits just under the lift latch handle to maintain tension on the latch. The latch in the photo does indeed have this spring in place but some others do not. I wish to purchase one or more of these curved springs, not the entire lift latch. I have found an entire similar lift latch on line with a part number of WD 9275, but the information did not include any dimensions, not list any springs separately. Thank you.

Thank you for submitting your inquiry to our discussion board.
Unfortunately, we do not sell the spring by itself.
These locks are not made anymore and are becoming harder and harder to supply.
If you are able to find a match for the complete lock, you should get it before it's gone for good.

Your best option is to take your current lock to a local hardware store, where they may have some old parts laying around.
After looking back through our catalog and conferring with our part experts, we do have a spring in our 91-112 but our experts are quite skeptical that it will work for you.
