Aluminum jamb liner / spring balance

A quick learner from Portland, OR says:
I have 1950's wood windows with integrated aluminum jamb liners and spring balances that run inside tracks in the jamb liner. I'm replacing the aluminum jamb liners with vinyl ones and need balances that will work. The windows are double hung and each sash is 10 lbs.

For old wood windows like this, we like to use the Series 500 along with a 17-012 bottom bracket. Look these two products over and let me know if you have any questions.
