I'm hoping you can help me identify this window balance from an aluminum non tilt window, the metal channel is 1/2" wide, measures 37" long ( metal section only) and has number 3640P stamped on it, I tried to take accurate measurements of the top and bottom shoe, the best I could match it up would be the 385 but definitely need an expert opinion, I would need a quantity of 8 units total,

Based on your photos, you have either our S380-37 or S385-37. The only difference between them is the size of the bottom fitting, which is indicated on their respective store pages. You'll need to measure your bottom fitting to confirm which one is the better match.
Ah, actually that may not be it. You may instead need a 15-029 bottom shoe on your balance. This is also 7/8" deep, though it's not available as a stock item so we could only provide a balance with this installed as a custom order.
What I'll do now is email you an order link and price quote right now for 8 balances made with that shoe. They'll be 37" long and 1/2" wide, with a 19-005 top and a 3640 stamp option. We will also pre-attach the 15-029 shoe for you here in our warehouse. They'll be ready to install out of the box.
If you didn't want to do a custom order, then a second option would be to purchase our S380-37 and simply shave the bottom shoe down if necessary. Just note that balances altered in that way cannot be returned for a refund; on the other hand, neither can custom balances.

Oh, one last thing to note, since I only just realized it; the 3640 option is currently out of stock. Due to the public health crisis (and not made any better by the recent tropical storm that just smacked us), the lead time on this could be anywhere from 4-5 weeks, or even longer if things don't settle down any time soon. This is the case whether or not you go with a custom order. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
