Thanks for posting. That piece on the left there is not part of the handle, but rather the operator. It is not meant to come out, and if it has then the operator will need to be replaced. Your handle is actually probably still in good working condition.
If you can, please show me a picture of the operator out of the window and we will try our best to find a match.
