American Craftsman Crank Assembly for a Casement Window

Home Owner from Johnston, RI

I tried to add a photo from my cell phone but I'm afraid I'm not computer literate enough to do it. So here is my description:

I have an American Craftsman casement window which is a left venting unit. The encasement and handle for the opening and closing operation is badly broken and I need to replace the whole assembly. I also need to replace the bottom slide assembly since the plastic slide is broken.

The Ref # on the original purchase is S0101.

The SKU is 694-681.

Left Venting.

7501 White.

The window is supposed to be on a lifetime warranty but when I called them they said that the parts were no longer in stock and that there was nothing they could do. "So much for lifetime warrantees"!

If you can help me to identify and order the parts that I am looking for, I would deeply appreciate it.

Best,

Ray

Hello, Ray. In my experience the Series 7501 casement window used the old GU operator. This isn't made anymore, unfortunately, but there is still a solution you can try to get your windows working again. I recommend watching the video below which will cover everything you have to do step by step.
