American Craftsman Double Hung Windows about 25 years old

Question

Need replacements for the nylon part that connects to the bottom of the spiral spring and makes the window stay up. The springs are ok but the piece they hook onto are breaking and thus the spring is disconnected. Please advise or inform me of more details to get the correct part. Will try to send you a photo later.

It sounds like you are in need of a new pivot shoe. To further review, we will need to see a picture of the original along with written out dimensions of the width and thickness of the shoe. The part will need to be removed from the window channel for accurate dimensions.
